In the System Info menu, check the 'enable XDS' box and enter the IP address of your receiver. You can leave the rest of the System info menu the same. all the options for ambos files work for the XDS files.

When the UI refreshes the ambos files, or when you manually refresh with the Refresh button, it will also list the XDS receiver and tell you how many files are on each receiver in the bottom (debug) window.

The XDS files will be listed in the Files/Transfers and you can double-click on them just as with the ambos files to transfer them manually.

On the Renaming files page, you will find the XDS files listed at the bottom. There is no way at this time to just list the files you have permission for, so i have to show the whole list. Do your renames just as before, though i don't think there are any multi-part pgms there, so the %p and %1 options will be ignored.

The Playlist editor menu does not apply to the XDS receiver.

In the Tools Menu, items that do apply to the XDS receiver are

• Export/import files (your XDS rename and timed transfer info is saved right along with your ambos info)
• Explore log files (your XDS activity is logged too)
• Check an mp2 file (read a file from the XDS receiver, checking every mp2 frame)

Some items that don't apply to the XDS receiver are

• Play any file
• Get baselist (only ambos permissions are available)
• Manage file checker (without permission info, there is no way to tell which files should be on your system
• Manage status indicators (maybe someday. for now, the ebno and lan indicators should give a good indication of the XDS receiver too)
